HOT APPLICATION WITH WAXING IRON
1. Allow the block of product to drip onto the base for 20 cm, placing it in contact with the base of the waxing iron set at the temperature indicated for each specific product and then immediately spread the wax with a regular back and forth movement (from tip to tail);
.Repeat the operation for the entire insole and finally perform a continuous passage from tip to tail (approximately 4/5 cm per second for GM Base Cold and Med, approximately 3 cm per second for GM Base Hot);
.(mix with a hardener) If the snow conditions require the use of a harder base, place some powdered ARTIC BASE on top of the newly hardened GM BASE (the higher the abrasion of the snow, the greater the quantity of powder will be) and with the waxing iron at 150°C perform a continuous passage from tip to tail at low speed (about 3 cm per second) perfectly melting the powder into the underlying solid paraffin.
.Free the side of the ski and the lateral face of the edges from the solidified product with a well-sharpened plexyglass spatula;
.Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the insole to cool and the product to solidify; then remove the excess of the solidified product with a well-sharpened spatula applying gentle pressure;
.Free the base structure using a rigid steel manual brush;
.Brush the insole with a manual or rotating rigid brass brush;
.Brush the insole with a manual or rotating stiff horsehair brush;
.Polish the insole with a manual or rotating soft nylon brush.
